OK, so i haven't updated since my birthday. got a lot going on! and i know that you all probably don't care about my life, but seriously, this is some awesome stuff!

Started my summer class, Art History: Modern Art. its not bad so far. pretty interesting. the first exam is on Thursday, so I'm nervous about that.

Also going out of town on Thursday afternoon with ~paintxitxgrey and =2passions1love. Going to Bodega Bay, which is an amazing place. I haven't been there since last Spring Break, where i took these:

I'm bringing both my new(ish) Nikon film camera and my Kodak digital, so I'm sure to get lots of amazing photos to share with you all. Gonna be gone for about 3 days (Thursday through Saturday). I'm very excited!

Best news EVER... but first, i have to tell the entire story. keep reading. its a good story!

OK, Woke up this morning at 9:10am. I friggen flipped out because my class starts at 9am. Threw on clothes, brushed my teeth and hopped on my scooter. Got to the school by 9:40am-ish, the entire way there, i'm like, freaking out and beating myself up, cuz i haaaaaaate being late! Class went well, and I got the notes I missed from Tara (~paintxitxgrey). So afterward, I'm driving home, and I almost hit a Campus Police car, because they stopped suddenly in front of me (jerk, lol). I get all the way home safely (thank God the cop didn't do anything to me, but he/she did pull someone over like 10 second later, haha), and I'm beating myself up the entire way home, again. I walk in the back door of my house, grab a box of mac n cheese, put the water on the stove to boil. As I'm walking into the computer room, i walk past the front door, where the mail is usually put, and i see an envelope with red lettering and the school's logo on it. So, again, i freak out, because i thought they were billing me. I walk back into the kitchen while opening it, pull out the paper inside....

Its a freaking check. from the school/government. I was awarded with the Pell Grant. They wrote me a check... for $629.

SIX HUNDRED. AND TWENTY NINE DOLLARS.

I practically fell to my knees in the kitchen and just stared at it, not being able to say anything but "oh my gawd, oh my gawd", over and over again. for like, 40 minutes, i couldn't stop smiling and giggling. (it's what ~Eternal-Decadance and myself like to call.. a 'Happinessgasm' ) I called Tara, and my parents, . This is literally the most money I've ever had at one time. Of course, most of it will be going to books for next semester (tuition's already paid for, thank you government waivers!). So I have all this money to do whatever with. I plan on saving most of it, since I have no other income. but it's gonna be difficult because I need... things. Gonna try my best though!
I'm so very excited about this, and I just wanted to share my happiness with you all.
